The Interview

When news hits about Kim Jong-Un, North Korea’s infamous dictator, being connected to bomb threats of certain studios in California because of a movie, which gives you enough reason to see it. Evan Goldberg’s The Interview stars James Franco and Seth Rogen as a TV show host and producer that scores an interview with Kim Jong-Un. However, the CIA intervenes with a plan to secretly murder the dictator. This movie, in my opinion, would be 6 out of 10, a decent comedy with no prominent story line.
Honestly, I had no interest in watching this movie until the bombing threats appeared in the headlines. Great advertising right? I would totally recommend this movie if you’re looking for a tension-free, stupid comedy, just something to relax with. However, I must warn you about the nudity that annoyingly pops up. Coming from a somewhat strictish religious household, I found this to be unnecessary. Personally, if the nudity and the profanity were taken out, this would be a great movie for families. But if that floats your boat, then by all means enjoy it.
I strongly recommend this movie to be strictly for 18+. This film can be seen in different perspectives. Is it a slapstick comedy or complete utter nonsense? I’ll let you be the judge.
