I recently went searching for an all in one face palette and came across the LA girl beauty brick and I have been a fan since. The product retails for 10$ on their USA website and I was able to get it for PKR Rs.1000 on a Facebook page Beauty Point, Karachi.
The Beauty Brick comes with 4 different products, and in 4 different shades, Glow, Pinky, Spice and Glam (going from the lightest to the darkest). Each palette includes a matte blush, a shimmery blush, a bronzer and a highlight shade. The shimmer shades have a very nice glow to them without an over dose of glitter.
I picked up the beauty brick blush in the shade SPICE and it perfectly suited my Asian/tanned skin tone. In fact I have seen a lot of fair skinned beauty gurus on Youtube use this shade and it perfectly suited them as well so I think SPICE is a very universal palette.
The palette includes a very pretty coral matte blush, followed by a baby pink shimmery blush. The couture color has the perfect warmth without having any orange undertone and the highlight is a beautiful Champagne color.
I have swatched all the shades above, along with a swatch of the Makeup Revolution highlighter ( on the left side) for comparison.
The highlight shade is not very intense as Becca or Anastasia Beverlyhills but it is pigmented enough for an everyday, subtle, natural glow. The first time I did my full face using the complete palette, I got a lot of compliments on how perfect my makeup looked and how pretty I was looking. Since then I have made this palette my everyday go –to makeup essential and I have noticed the difference a bit of bronzing and highlighting can make.
Verdict: For the price tag, this is a must try product. The packaging is very decent and the colors are bendable with good pigmentation. The wear time is 5-7 hours, and the product only slightly fades.
